About Me

Having lived in Colorado my entire life, I started my career at Colorado State University after graduating high school in 2017. I immediately declared accounting as my field of study, and thoroughly enjoy learning it. I was named to the Dean's List in the College of Business in both the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Fall 2021 semesters. When not focusing on academics, I like baseball, Legos, photography, beach volleyball, and any crime TV shows. A few of my projects can be seen by clicking on the 'Personal Projects' button located at the top of this page.

During my first year at CSU, I decided to enlist in the Colorado Air National Guard, working as a structural maintainer on F-16 fighter jets at Buckley Space Force Base. Upon enlisting, I had to take both the 2018 and 2019 school years off, completing both basic training and technical school in this time, with plenty of stories to boot. A month after returning from technical school, I received my first real world assignment, responding to the COVID-19 pandemic through a task force activated by the Governor of Colorado. The COVID-19 task force got deactivated after three months, but I continued on the mission as a civilian, working six days a week for the City of Denver. The contract then switched over to the Salvation Army, whom I worked for for nearly a year and half, before resigning so I could return to in-person school.

In the middle of the pandemic response, I was able to return to CSU, going to school full-time online. The combination of the pandemic, in addition to the two years off, forced me to push my graduation date back a full year. Once I graduate from CSU, I intend to begin a career in forensic accounting.
